Our Verdict
I recently added the Astronaut USB Reading Light to my home office setup to see if its playful design held up under daily use. It is a compact, USB-powered accessory that aims to bridge the gap between quirky desk decor and functional task lighting.
Performance & Build Quality
Constructed from lightweight ABS and PS materials, the lamp feels surprisingly sturdy despite its small 35g footprint. The 33cm flexible hose holds its shape well, allowing you to direct the 0.5w light exactly where you need it for late-night reading or keyboard illumination.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setting up the lamp is as simple as plugging it into any standard PC or power bank USB port. Turning it on by clicking the astronaut's helmet is a clever design touch that makes an otherwise standard task feel engaging every time you sit down to work.
This lamp is ideal for space enthusiasts, students, or professionals wanting a compact and adjustable light source that adds character to their desk.
Final Thoughts
The Astronaut USB Reading Light earns a solid 4.9/5 for successfully combining form and function at a very accessible price point of $22.58. It is a reliable, charming addition to any tech-focused environment that proves you do not need a massive lamp to get the perfect lighting angle.
